Published: December 2025
Organisation: PontePatros Ltd
Registered Address: 3rd Floor, 86–90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE
Company Number: 16778895
Reporting Period: FY 2025/26 (initial reporting year)

1. Commitment to Achieving Net Zero

PontePatros Ltd is committed to achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, in line with UK Government targets and the requirements of PPN 06/21 for suppliers wishing to work with the public sector.

As a digital-first organisation focusing on housing diagnostics, indoor environmental monitoring, and retrofit data, PontePatros recognises the importance of reducing emissions associated with technology services, supply chains, and operational activity.

2. Baseline Emissions Footprint

As PontePatros Ltd was incorporated in October 2025, this Carbon Reduction Plan represents the first year of reporting. A full baseline year will be established at the end of FY 2025–2026.

In accordance with PPN 06/21 guidance, new organisations without a historical reporting period may enter “0” as a baseline and publish an estimated baseline once one full financial year has passed.

Baseline Year: FY 2025–2026

(Current baseline – to be updated at year-end)

Scope 1 - Direct fuel combustion (none) - 0

Scope 2 - Purchased electricity for office use (minimal – co-working/remote). - 0.10 (estimate)

Scope 3 - Business travel, commuting, purchased goods/services, cloud hosting, subcontractors, waste - 0.40 (estimate)

Total Baseline Emissions0.50 tCO₂e

A refined baseline will be published once actual data is available at the close of the financial year.

3. Current Emissions Reporting

As this is PontePatros’ first Carbon Reduction Plan, current emissions are equivalent to baseline emissions.

Updates will be published annually.

4. Emissions Reduction Targets

PontePatros commits to the following reduction trajectory:

By 2030

  • Reduce total emissions by 50% compared to baseline.

  • Shift fully to renewable electricity for any office or co-working spaces used.

  • Ensure 100% cloud hosting is on renewable/low-carbon infrastructure.

By 2040

  • Reduce emissions by 75%.

  • Eliminate non-essential business travel; move to fully virtual-first operations.

  • Ensure measurable social landlords' retrofit interventions support wider carbon reduction.

By 2050

  • Achieve Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions.

  • Offset any residual emissions through certified carbon removal programmes.

5. Carbon Reduction Initiatives (Current and Planned)

PontePatros’ business model inherently supports carbon reduction by enabling social landlords to reduce damp, mould, energy waste, and poor ventilation outcomes.

Current Initiatives

  • Fully remote-first operating model to minimise commuting and property emissions.

  • Use of energy-efficient devices for development and analytics.

  • Selection of cloud computing providers with strong renewable energy commitments.

  • Digital-only documentation and customer engagement to reduce material waste.

  • Minimal business travel; virtual-first meetings with clients and partners.

Planned Future Initiatives

  • Publish an annual Environmental Impact Report.

  • Adopt a formal Environmental Management System aligned with ISO 14001 principles.

  • Switch all co-working/office electricity to 100% renewable energy tariffs.

  • Implement a Green Procurement Policy prioritising low-carbon suppliers (e.g., LoRaWAN devices with low embodied carbon where available).

  • Introduce a travel emissions tracking tool for monitoring Scope 3 business travel.

  • Work with subcontractors (e.g., sensor suppliers) to encourage sustainable packaging and logistics practices.

6. Supporting Social Housing Carbon Reduction

As a provider of monitoring and diagnostics, PontePatros supports:

  • Reduced heating demand through ventilation optimisation

  • Early identification of conditions leading to high moisture, mould and heat loss

  • Data-driven retrofit targeting

  • Verification of carbon savings from insulation, ventilation, heating upgrades

This aligns with UK Government retrofit strategies and local authority net-zero pathways.

7. Declaration and Sign-Off

This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with:

  • PPN 06/21

  • Carbon Reduction Plan Requirements

  • GHG Reporting Protocol (Corporate Standard)

  • Government emission conversion factors for greenhouse gas reporting

This Carbon Reduction Plan has been reviewed and approved by the Director of PontePatros Ltd.
